How can we help stop corruption in goverment and business?
TERM LIMITS FOR ALL PUBLIC OFFICE !!





The "corruption" comes when you get people like Kennedy or Kerry who have been there FOREVER and are part of the "good ol boy" network and have tight ties to the "special interest" donors.
Reply:Frequent your city council. Start your own minor political career (yes you're qualified) and run for city council. There you'll be in a position to oversee, and review various commerce activities, and intervene as necessary.
Reply:You, we, us cannot stop corruption because the lawmakers themselves are corrupted, and forget the corrupted justice and law enforcement.
Reply:corruption is inevitable
Reply:By abolishing ALL "Government" save God's.
Reply:I don't think it is possible. As long as "the good old boys/girls" stay in government, nothing will change. We need election laws to change so that political candidates do not have to be millionaires. The good people who are elected have a rough time fighting the Washington crowd with their special interests.





As for big business, their bottom line is money and that's it.


We could get rid of lobbyists for these businesses. That would be a big help. Lobbying should be abolished.





I don't think I will see much of a change in my life.
Reply:The focus must be on Lobbyist, at one time to lobby the government meant that the citizenry could talk or petition our politicians. Now it is much different, with money and perks in the mix. We must go back to just talking and petitioning.
Reply:Stiffer sentences for those who are caught. Get rid of the country club aymosphere most of these guys are confined to when they are caught.





Put the vermin in state penitentary's instead of coddling them. These are not victimless crimes, when some are reaping large nest eggs while others are homeless !
Reply:As long as there are humans involved.....There will ALWAYS be corruption.





If you want to live in a place free of corruption, you will need to find a way to get to mars, establish yourself there, and ALWAYS remain alone!





Or, you could invent the ultimate Robots, convince everyone in the world to give up every freedom that they might have..and put the Robots in charge.....with the ability to rule as they see fit.....and the ability to punish those who disobey.





It might not be your "cup of tea"......





But I, for one, look forward to Our Robotic Overlords!
