I can't start the actual essay until I have a good opening sentence, and I end up wasting valuable time thinking. Any help is appreciated.

its best to start the essay with the basic idea with which u are goin to write it. ie. jus sum up all your thoughts about the given topic and if possible questions on the topic u have and write them in the intro.. when it comes to the conclusion part try answering your thought in the intro..
