How to persuade parents in to buying a bow flex HELP PWEASE?
Tell them you'll get a job and pay them back. OR maybe just get a job and buy it yourself....
Reply:"mom... are you having another baby?"
Reply:that's thousands of dollars....when you don't even need it. We have one at my parents house....and it never gets used. Just join a gym...it is far cheaper....or run outside, or jog in place, or ride a bike, or do any physical activity you can do.....the bowflex is a waste of money....and takes up a ton of space.
Reply:Don't bother with a bowflex. Get a squat rack and a 300 pound weight set with a barbell. You can throw a bench in if you want to. Bowflexes aren't worth the trouble.
Reply:or, you could just join a local gym. I prefer going to a gym mainly because if i didnt have to drive to the gym 3 days a week after school i would just come home and sit and not work out. I actually need to go somewhere else to work out in order to work out lol.
but anyways, just ask nicely and list reasons why working out is good and how a bowflex will help you, and if they say no, then ask for them to buy you a membership to a local gym.
Reply:Just get a gym membership, its a lot cheaper.
Also, if you really NEED to do exercises at home, there are a lot of things you can do at home with dumbbells and a bench.
Reply:Volunteer to clean up the local parks; walk the neighbourhood's dogs; cut firewood for all your neighbours and friends who need it; mown peoples' lawns with an old-fashioned Human-powered mower. There are a lot of ways to get a lot of exercise without using an "exercise machine" of any sort -- and you can actually help others while doing it.
Reply:What is wrong with you working to get the money to buy it yourself?
